Veltride belongs to a class of medicines called 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitor. 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitors, are a class of medicines which are used to treat scalp hair loss and enlarged prostate.
Veltride Tablet is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It shrinks the size of the enlarged prostate gland to relieve symptoms like pain and difficulty in passing urine. This also decreases the effect of symptoms such as difficulty in urination, weak stream, and frequent urge to urinate.
